Buying a house usually comes with a few projects. When our clients bought this home they knew they wanted to make a few changes to update the main floor living area. With Fluff’s help they lightened up the wall color, painted the built ins and cabinets, and added new wood floors to the living room. This gave us a great starting point to come in and transform the space with furniture and accessories.

Our jumping off point was this great rustic coffee table that was once a railway cart – we love pieces that have a story to tell! We wanted this room to feel warm and inviting so we made sure to add in lots of different textures from warm fabrics to sleek metals.

We carried the look throughout the kitchen and dining with some new wicker barstools, light accessories in the kitchen, and a new dining room set up.

This dining nook needed a “wow piece” so we chose a large globe pendant with a mix of wood and metal. We then had our builder make this custom 2-tone harvest table and dining bench. Because we were going for a layered look, we didn’t want the chairs to look “matchy-matchy” so we paired the bench with linen head chairs and metal side chairs (again, it’s all about that texture!)

Our clients were thrilled with the transformation and are enjoying their new updated home!
