Building a house is a large undertaking, but remodeling a house while living in it is a whole other story.  And, yet, the final result can be so worth the wait…. and the dust!
My clients replaced all of their golden oak woodwork throughout the main floor with taller, painted, white woodwork.  To accentuate the fresh, new casings, we added floor to ceiling bright, white stone on the fireplace.  Two modern chests with painted floating shelves hung above create symmetry, as well as, added height to the focal wall.DSC_0083
Maximum seating was accomplished with a sectional and added chaise in a muted blue/gray fabric.  Water and lily sister prints became our jumping off point for navy and green accents.

Large scale, modern art layered behind a swivel chair, floor lamp, and accent table allow for the perfect vignette on the room’s smaller wall… and a great spot for a cup of coffee and a book!

Overall, this remodel was well worth the wait… and the dust!
